We want to point out a book that we have developed in the Course of the Architectural Planning for Urban Recovery, taught by Professor Alessandro Bucci within the Faculty of Architecture of Ferrara, during the academic year 2010/2011. The goal we have set ourselves is to read the city using a less rigid approach than that the city-planning teaches us; discover and experience its places most from the point of view of the ordinary citizen than the technician. This route has been done through the use of 10 “guide words” belonging to the common language and not really to our discipline. The result will not be a point of arrival but a stimulus to open a debate among architects, administrators, city-planners, and especially citizens, concerning the future of our city.

Vogliamo segnalare un libro che abbiamo redatto all’interno del Corso di Progettazione Architettonica per il recupero Urbano, tenuto dal professore Alessandro Bucci all’interno della Facoltà di Architettura di Ferrara, durante l’a.a 2010/2011. L’obiettivo che ci siamo posti è quello di leggere la città utilizzando un approccio meno vincolistico e rigido di quello che l’urbanistica ci insegna; scoprire e vivere i suoi luoghi più dal punto di vista del cittadino comune che del tecnico. Questo percorso è stato fatto attraverso l’uso di 10 “parole guida” appartenenti al linguaggio comune e non propriamente alla nostra disciplina. Il risultato non vuole essere un punto di arrivo ma uno stimolo per aprire un dibattito tra progettisti, amministratori, urbanisti e soprattutto cittadini, riguardante il futuro delle nostre città.
